Naminukai Cat House is a place where homeless kittens who have been rescued from the streets temporarily reside and live while looking for new homes. All of them are the inmates of the animal shelter Naminukai, who were cured (if they were sick) and prepared for a new home (dewormed, labelled, vaccinated, sterilized) before entering the Naminukai Cat House.
In a cosy room that resembles a real cat kingdom with games, stairs and shelters, 8 to 12 cats are constantly waiting for new homes. When one goes to a new home, his place is taken by a newcomer that arrives from the Naminukai shelter, therefore the room's residents are constantly changing. The aim of Naminukai Cat House is to save as many homeless cats as possible, to give them full care without cages and to find good homes for them. Daily volunteers take care of the cats and the visitors are welcomed by the volunteers of Naminukai public institution, ready to tell about each inmate and to provide information about the procedure of taking the pet to your home. Here, visitors are always welcomed if they want to take a homeless cat, to bring them snacks, to cuddle, pat, play, or just admire. You can also find out more about the Naminukai shelter's procedures, plans, projects, and the possibility to support or volunteer. From 2012, more than 1,700 homeless animals were rescued by Naminukai! After starting the activities in caring of homeless animals at home, he later opened a shelter for cats, and recently acquired a plot to build a shelter for homeless dogs.
