Druskos Pasakos salt room is a room where walls, ceilings and floors are covered with a thick layer of salt. The salt room offers a halotherapy service. Halotherapy is a non-therapeutic method of ensuring physical well-being, using an artificial microclimate corresponding to the air in the salt mines. The main factor of this method is the dry salt spray, which is characterised by anti-inflammatory, bronchodilator relaxant, mucus-thinning, inflammation-lowering effect. Salt protects the respiratory tract from infections. During the session, dry salt aerosol is sprayed into the room through special openings. Person breathes air enriched with salt, which passes through the airways to the small bronchi, which makes the person more easily expectorant, begins to wipe the bronchi, and becomes easier to breathe through the nose. Being in a salt saturated environment has a positive effect on the overall well-being of the person. These procedures calm the nervous system, strengthen immunity.
